I had a mixed experience at The Whitehouse in Rye. The location is unparalleled, right in the heart of town with easy access to attractions, and I appreciated the friendly and helpful staff. However, my room had some issues, particularly regarding comfort and amenities, which detracted from an otherwise charming stay.

I stayed in the Whoopie room, which was spacious and had a lovely roll-top bath, though it lacked a separate shower and was a bit noisy due to the pigeons outside. The decor was nice, but some areas needed attention, like patchy paintwork and low water pressure in the shower.

The breakfast truly stood out as a highlight, offering a delicious and ample selection to start the day. However, I did encounter some issues with the check-in process as well as parking, which slightly marred the experience, especially since I wasn’t familiar with the local parking restrictions.
